Join fellow Icelandic horse enthusiasts and others at a weekend horse camping event at Richard J. Dorer Memorial Hardwood State Forest, Hay Creek Unit, near Red Wing, MN. This park has easy to moderate trails, gorgeous pine forested hills, and a nice trout river crossing. Hay Creek Valley Campground (not a state facility) offers electric and water hookups. Sites can be reserved in advance using the Haycreekvalley.com website. Day riding/rig parking is also available. You will need a Minnesota Equestrian Trail pass.
